Welcome to the Evans Campus of City College of San Francisco. We are located on Evans Avenue just a block from the 3rd Street Rail. The original goal of the Evans Campus was to consolidate City College of San Francisco’s Skilled Trades and Automotive Programs at one site. The Campus has established as its mission the continuous improvement of workforce education and seeks to achieve this mission through a commitment to improve existing training programs, to develop new programs and community partnerships, and to provide the flexible delivery of these programs.
The Evans Campus provides facilities for classes in the southeast quadrant of San Francisco. It schedules credit courses in automotive and motorcycle technology, construction, welding, and fashion. Noncredit courses are available in automotive, business, construction, custodial training, and fashion. The City Build Academy, a partnership with the City of San Francisco and the local unions, provides workforce training and job placement services to San Francisco residents interested in pursuing a career in the construction industry. Our classes are offered throughout the day, evening, and on weekends for your convenience.
The Campus also houses statewide initiatives supporting workforce development. These include the Office of Workforce and Economic Development, the Design Studio, the Advanced Transportation Technology Office, the Geographic Information Systems Education Center, and the California Resource Center for Occupational Program Design and Evaluation.
Student services available at the Campus include admissions and registration, financial aid counseling, general counseling, and an Associated Students Council.
Browse through our campus website to learn more about our courses, programs, services and initiatives. If you have additional questions, please contact the respective department chair or coordinator. We look forward to welcoming you to the campus.
