VESL (Vocational ESL) classes come in all shapes and sizes. Some of our classes are general courses for students looking for work (job search); some are for people looking to upgrade their communication skills in a field they are presently in or interested in getting into, such as health care, childcare or biotechnology.
Some are just general courses that introduce our students to general work-related vocabulary and language skills relevant to employment. Most of the classes are noncredit, but some are credit and some are dual-listed (can be taken for credit or noncredit). Check out the Wiki to bring more work-related vocabulary, grammar, and functional speaking activities into all of your classes.
