The Office of Instruction outcomes-assessment process is documented and described below.

Assessment Process

Assessment results and progress are documented each semester in our Assessment Progress Reports with highlights each year in our Program Review.

Administrative Unit Outcomes

Our initial focus in outcomes assessment is on Administrative Unit Outcomes related to the College Catalog:

  • Information about the College is represented in the printed and online College Catalog in ways that are understandable, accurate, and accessible by College Constituencies.
  • Information provided by the College Catalog is effective in guiding students in their educational pursuits.

We are in the process of developing additional Administrative Unit Outcomes related to:

  • Faculty Evaluation and Tenure Review
  • Curriculum Support
  • Sabbatical Leaves
  • Articulation

The current pilot process with the College Catalog will inform how we develop outcomes and assessment methods for these other areas.
