Instructional Continuity (Canvas)
While CCSF is closed and we are in the process of transitioning face to face classes to Canvas, we recommend that you visit our Instructor Support page for training information and a zoom webinar-based schedule of training currently being offered by the Office of Online Learning.
The Office of Online Learning has developed a compressed Canvas Training class to help to face-to-face instructors use Canvas during the temporary shift to remote instruction.
Enroll in the self-paced Instructional Continuity Training or use it as a reference by clicking on the button below.
You can also sign up for a Webinar by logging into the MyCCSF Login Portal (RAM ID) and clicking on the Vision Resource Center (VRC) tile. On the welcome page, click on the Events Calendar Button.
The training sessions focussed on transitioning a face to face class to Canvas-based Remote learning class are labeled Canvas – Instructional Continuity. Click on a session that works for your schedule. Then click the Request button to sign up. You will receive an email confirming your Registration and in the email, you will find a link to the zoom session. Shortly before the session, click the Zoom link. If you do not have Zoom installed, you will be provided a link to install Zoom. If you want to install Zoom yourself before the session you can click on this Zoom Installer.
