Communication from the Ed Tech Department to faculty teaching online classes is done via the firstname.lastname@example.org list-serv. Emails include information such as class loads, Insight, roll-over specifics, etc. Resources for teaching online are located in the Resource Center for Distance Learning Faculty. All faculty teaching online have access to the Resource Center.

Online Classes for Spring 2014
All full semester online classes will open on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 8 am. Students are responsible for checking their instructor's website for important class details. Links to instructor websites can be found in the Class Schedule.
Log in/Password Information
All students who are enrolled in regular start online class will receive an email with the subject, "Welcome to Insight" sent to their CCSFmail address username and password information.
Adding Students to Insight
Students who have registered for an online class between November 12, 2013 to January 8, 2014 will be added to Insight starting on January 8th. Beginning the first day of classes, students will be added to Insight twice a day during the add/drop period. After the add deadline, students will be added once a day in the morning.
Students will be added to late-start classes with the initial upload. If you would prefer a more recent classlist reflected in Insight, please email Jose Gil, email@example.com.

Spring 2014 Ed Tech Department Meetings
Plan to join us for the following Ed Tech Department meetings througout the spring semester on the second Monday of the month. We will be using the distance learning teleconference room in the MU Building, room 390. Our goal is to either use CCConfer or the existing teleconferencing technology in the room to allow you to attend the meetings "at a distance" and/or view recorded meetings.
