(May 12, 2012) Erica Williams wins the Triple Jump by breaking the school record with a jump of 38.4 feet.(11.68 meters) She also placed Third in the 100 hurdles. She also won the Heptathlon Northern California Championship earlier this month. She will be headed to Cerritos to compete in the Heptathlon, 100 Hurdles, and the Triple Jump. On the season, Erica Williams has broken two school records (heptathlon and Triple Jump) and in doing so, won two regional championships.

Chanelle Norwood placed 3rd in the Long Jump and is also headed to the state meet to compete in this event.

4x100 meter relay ran a season best of 41.09 to take third and qualify for the state meet.
4x400 meter relay also ran a season best of 3:13 to take second, qualifying them for the state meet.  
Alex Foster qualified in the 800m and Jarred Moore qualified in the 1500m. Both men will be competing at the state meet in these events.

Erica Williams wins by 578 points in NorCal Combined-Event Championship. Personal bests in the hurdles, 200, long jump, and 800. She broke the school record by 100 points. Her total hep score of 4605 beats her previous mark as a freshman by 381 points. The next heptathlon for Erica is the State Championship May 18-19 at Cerritos College.
