Pharmacy Technician Program
The Pharmancy Technician Program is a two semester program that
prepares students to work as technicians in pharmacies under the
direct supervision of a pharmacist. The courses focus on drug
classifications and uses, pharmancy laws, rules and regulations, drug
storage, record keeping, pharmacy math, and drug anatomy and
physiology.
The Pharmancy Technician Program offers a Certificate of Achievement
in Pharmancy Technician.
Prerequisites
MATH 840 and ENGL 92 or 94 or placement in ENGL 96.
Students are required to attend an orientation session held during the Spring Semester to pick-up and application to the program.
