High School Students - New and Continuously Enrolled

Students currently in high school may satisfy their UC/CSU admission/transfer foreign language requirement through completing (with a grade of C (CSU) or B (UC) or better) foreign languages classes through the CCSF Foreign Language Department.  Languages offered are:

  • ASL (American Sign Language) 
  • Chinese (Mandarin for UC/CSU and Cantonese for CSU)
  • French
  • Italian
  • German
  • Japanese
  • Pilipino 
  • Russian
  • Spanish

BEFORE BEGINNING, make sure that you meet the following requirements:

  • Have 120 high school credits  
  • Have a minimum 2.0 GPA
