The Foreign Languages Department offers a full schedule of courses in nine languages. All are transferable to the California State University system and most are transferable to the University of California system. Our instructors are experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated to helping you learn a language and and gain cultural competency.
Our students come from all walks of life and represent many age groups; high school students, "traditional" college students, working adults, veterans, and retired professionals. You will be welcomed in our classes!
Students may complete a Major or a Certificate of Accomplishment in many languages. Please see the individual language pages for details.
Classes are offered day, evening, and Saturdays at several CCSF locations in the hope you will find a section that fits in to your demanding schedule.
