Welcome to the Business Employment Program. In today's tough economy it's wise to use a variety of resources to support your job search, including online jobs, no-fee employment agencies, networking with professional and personal contacts, cold-calling employers and using employment services like the Business Employment Program.
Our program serves all City College Business students, and is free of charge. These are the services we offer to all Business students:
Employers contact us with jobs which we match with qualified students. We will forward your resume for specific jobs when your skills match the employer's requirements and the job matches what you're seeking. Employers contact students directly to schedule interviews.
This service is open to all Business students. To register for our program, please fill out an online datasheet (http://www.ccsf.edu/NEW/en/educational-programs/school-and-departments/school-of-business/business-department/business-employment-program/students/datasheet.html), and email your current resume to email@example.com (as a Word 2003 attachment).
We also send micro-resumes to over 1,000 employers each month containing a summary of your skills and your contact information. Employers contact you directly to interview.

Other Job Related Resources
We also do free referrals (no cost to CCSF students) to Dress for Success San Francisco, a non-profit that provides free professional outfits to low-income women for upcoming interviews.
We also do referrals to various employment agencies and services throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Please contact the CCSF Business Employment Program for more details regarding these services.
You'll need a well written, professional looking resume for any job you apply for, and when you apply on your own, a personalized cover letter for each job you apply for is a must. The cover letter should emphasize how your skills match the specific job you are applying for. Please see the City College Career Center for help with resumes and cover letters.
Good luck in your job search!
