Introduction to Screen Printing Workshop

This 5-week introductory workshop will focus on basic screen-printing equipment and processes, including direct and photo-emulsion stencil techniques, using non-toxic materials.  Students will create screen-prints from original artworks such as drawings, paintings, photos, etc., and explore the various types of substrates (paper, fabric, metal, plastic, glass, etc.) that can be used in the printing process. Students should bring whatever images they plan to work with (no larger than 8.5" x 11") to first day of class.
