Spring Writers' Lab, Session 2
Both fiction writers and poets are welcome in the Lab, where we come together as practicing writers, each of us bringing our works-in-progress or starting something new. One hour or more of each class is reserved for simply writing together, giving us structure and discipline to work on our projects in community. We also do a weekly in-class generative creative writing exercise that helps us warm up and stretch our words in new directions. We talk about issues of craft as they arise, tailoring these conversations and skill-building to meet the needs of the participants in the group. Those who have taken previous creative writing classes are welcome here, as is anyone who wants to get some writing done this spring in a partially-self-directed, community-based setting. Please note the Lab is repeatable, so if you were in a previous Lab, you're welcome to come again--same format, fresh exercises.
This Lab is the second in a two-session series. You have options: Take Session One (WR103A), register for both Sessions One and Two and receive a $20 discount, or take Session Two independently. If you join us for all 10 weeks, you can expect to walk away with a completed short story, a small collection of poems, or a new chapter (or two or three) of your novel. A sense of completion is our goal this spring!
Sign up for WR103A Spring Writers' Lab; Session 1 at the same time for the multiple class discount of $10 per class ($20 total.)
