Combining Words and Images, a One-Day Workshop

Register Now

Join poet Terry Lucas and artist Lorna Stevens for a one-day workshop devoted to creating original pairings of text and art. The workshop will focus on combining writing and images and include a discussion of the generative process in which art can inspire writing, writing can inspire art, and insights on collaboration culled from our personal experience. Prompts will be given and students will take the role of both artist and writer. The workshop will conclude with presentation and group critique of workshop work and suggestions for how to carry it forward.

All materials provided for a $5 fee. No experience necessary.

Instructors: Terry Lucas and Lorna Stevens
