Introduction to Screen Printing Workshop
This 5-week introductory workshop will focus on basic screen-printing equipment and processes, including direct and photo-emulsion stencil techniques and using non-toxic materials. Students will create screen-prints from original artworks such as drawings, paintings, photos and explore various types of substrates that can be used in the printing process including paper, fabric, metal, plastic and glass. Students should bring images they hope to work with (no larger than 8.5" x 11") to first day of class.
