Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Dancers — are all welcome.

The CCSF dance program offers courses in a variety of dance forms, styles, and levels. Whether you are seeking professional dance training, are interested in dance as a secondary career, or want to dance for your own general education and personal well-being, we have much to offer!

Dance Degree and Certificates

Earn an AA in Dance and/or choose from one of our certificates to master specific dance techniques while preparing to transfer to upper-division courses at a four-year college or university. Our programs provide you with ample training in techniques such as ballet, modern, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, musical dance theater, African Haitian, tap, choreography and somatics, while offering many performance opportunities. In addition, courses are available to explore dance history and anatomy as part of our diverse program.

Dance Classes for the Public

Whether you're seeking to further develop your career skills, or dancing just for fun, our classes are available to you. Classes are just $46 for 18 lessons and are available during the spring, summer and fall semesters.

How to Enroll

If you are new to CCSF:

  1. Submit an online application and receive a student ID for registration
  2. Find CRN number ( course registration number ) in class schedule of the Dance Class you wish to take.
  3. Log in to your myRAM Portal with your student id, enter CRN number to register the class.

Just show up! Once you have enrolled at CCSF, find a dance class in the class schedule and come to the first of 2nd class meeting to register on-site.
