UNIT OF WORK
The standard unit, a measurement of college work, represents one college hour (50 minutes) of classwork weekly for one semester. In some courses, however, such as those in physical education and the laboratory arts and sciences, a greater number of hours of classwork is required weekly for each unit than in other courses.
