PRIVACY OF STUDENT RECORDS City College of San Francisco protects the privacy of students and maintains their right to inspect and review their records. Appropriate District employees are authorized to collect information relevant to students' admission, registration, academic history, career, students' benefits and services, and other relevant information including matters related to student conduct. Occasionally, the College receives requests from various private, public, or governmental agencies seeking students' directory information, and under Federal Law, the College must comply with these requests. However, students have the right to have their directory information withheld from the aforementioned agencies. A Request to Withhold Directory Information Form must be completed and submitted to the Office of Admissions and Records within the first two weeks of the school term. Forms are available at the Admissions and Records Counter, Conlan Hall, Room E107. For a more detailed description of the "City College Guidelines" concerning Student Privacy, please consult the Catalog . |
