Student Rights & Responsibilities

MATRICULATION POLICY

It is the policy of the College to ensure equal educational opportunity for all students. Matriculation at CCSF is a process which assists students in developing and realizing their educational goals. All credit students, unless exempt, are required to participate in the matriculation process.

CCSF agrees to provide:

  • career and basic skills assessment
  • orientation to college programs and services
  • counseling and advisement
  • development of an educational plan
  • continued monitoring of academic success

The student agrees to:

  • declare an educational goal following the completion of 15 semester units
  • attend classes regularly and complete assigned coursework
  • use support services as needed
  • consult with counselors and advisors when appropriate
