GRADES AND THE GRADE POINT AVERAGE
A student's grade point average (GPA) shows numerically the relationship between the number of units attempted and the grade points received. It may be determined by dividing the number of grade points earned by the number of units attempted. Grades of CR, NC, W, I, IP, EX and MW do not affect a student's grade point average. A 4.00 quotient indicates an A average; 3.00, a B average; 2.00, a C average; 1.00, a D average; 0.00, an F average.

All credit courses offered by City College of San Francisco are graded courses as defined by Title V, California Administrative Code.
