EXTENDED OPPORTUNITY PROGRAMS AND SERVICES (EOPS) The Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) assists low income educationally disadvantaged students in achieving their educational goals. A state funded program, EOPS provides support services such as counseling, book services, tutoring, priority registration, orientation to college, financial aid advising, summer enrichment services and transfer workshops. EOPS coordinates its resources with the Financial Aid Office, the Learning Assistance Center, the Career Development Center, the Transfer Center, the General Counseling Department, the African American Achievement Program, and the Admissions and Records Office, as well as the instructional departments, to promote students' success. The Extended Opportunity Programs and Services offices are located in Bungalows 612 and 403 on the Phelan campus, and may be reached at 239-3560. The Extended Opportunity Programs and Services office is conveniently located in the southwest corner of the Ocean/Phelan Campus, adjacent to the Registration Center. |
