DEGREE
PROGRAMS - ASSOCIATE OF ARTS I ASSOCIATE OF SCIENCE CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS (NORMALLY 12 TO 30 SEMESTER UNITS) Students may also earn a Certificate of Completion after completing 12 to 30 semester units of specific courses in a vocational, technical or business field. These programs focus on preparation for a specific occupation or area of employment, and generally do not require many courses outside of the chosen field. See your counselor or visit the Transfer Center for a complete list of Certificate Programs. To obtain a copy of the Vocational Education Program Guide, call 550-4440, or access their website at http://www.ccsf.edu/~voced. Once you have nearly finished your requirements for the certificate, you will need to submit a "Petition for Certificate of Completion" Form with the Office of Admissions and Records. Please consult the Catalog or the Class Schedule for deadline dates. TRANSFER

City College of San Francisco offers the lower division courses and prerequisites required to transfer. You may transfer with or without an Associate Degree. Both the College Catalog and the Orientation Handbook (online and hard copy) list the basic requirements for transferring to the University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) systems. California Community College students can transfer a maximum of 70 semester units towards the 120 or more semester units needed to earn the bachelor's degree from the University of California or the California State University. For additional transfer information, talk to a counselor or drop by the Transfer Center located in Science Hall, Room 5132. Call (415) 239-3748 if you have questions. NONCREDIT PROGRAMS The Noncredit
