A certificate of Completion in the Medical Biller Program is offered.

Employment opportunities are available in physicians' offices, outpatient
clinics, independent laboratories, home care agencies and other medical
facilities.

How
long will the program take?
Students beginning Medical Billing courses in the Spring Semester will
take two semesters to complete the program requirements.

do I enroll?
Take the City College Placement Test and attend the program orientation.
You may also enroll on the first day of classes. Bring your placement
scores and unofficial transcripts for any classes you have completed.
Where
will classes be held?
Most Medical Assisting classes are offered at the John Adams Campus.
A few courses may be available at other sites.

an informational packet be mailed to you.
What
time of day are classes offered?
Classes are generally offered during the day. Some classes may be available
during the evening.
When
do classes start?
January and August.
What
are the requirements for receiving a degree?
Completion of all courses within the Medical Assisting Program with
a "C" grade or higher and a grade point average of 2.5.
How
much money can I expect to spend?
Books and supplies cost approximately $400.00. Please refer to Tuition
Information for specifics on costs. Financial
