The program of study for the Certificate of Completion in Medical Office
Assisting is designed to prepare students for employment in medical
offices, clinics, and health centers.

long will the program take?
Students beginning Medical Administrative Assisting courses in the Fall
Semester will take three semesters plus one summer session to complete
the program requirements.

the program orientation. You must then arrange for an appointment with
an advisor. You may also enroll on the first day of classes after meeting
with the program advisor. Bring your placement scores and unofficial
transcripts for any classes you have completed.

will classes be held?
Most Medical Administrative Assisting Classes are offered at the John
Adams Campus. A few courses may be available at other
sites.

are the requirements for the certification?
Completion of all courses within the Medical Administrative Assisting
Program with a "C" grade or higher and an overall grade point
average of 2.5.
