What will this program do for me?
The program will assist the EMT trainees in developing skills in areas of specialized emergency problem, initial patient assessment and care, transportation, and communication. For more information call (415) 561-1900.

Employment opportunities include ambulance service, security guard, required entry for most fire departments or emergency room technician.

How much can I earn in this career?

What are the requirements for certification?
Successful completion of all course work, 75% minimum on all exams, passing all skills examinations and a minimum of 10 hours of clinical attendance. Please refer to Program Curriculum for specific requirement information.
