Guaranteed Admission = Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG)

What is a Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG)?

  • TAG is a commitment that selected colleges and universities make to students who meet specified transfer requirements. (previously known also as Transfer Admission Agreement [TAA] )

  • TAG documents are the contractual agreement between the student, City College, and the university. They are written a year in advance from when a student plans to enroll.

  • These agreements are subject to periodic change. Check with the Transfer Center each semester for current information, deadlines, etc.

  • Students preparing for guaranteed admission begin by working with a City College counselor early in their academic preparation.
