Coordinating Treatment in Out-of-home Placement Using Family Systems Using an evidenced-based family model, examine strategies to coordinate treatment for youth in out-of-home placement that allow you to work effectively with treatment teams. Learn: how to use a family systems model to use with youth in out-of-home placement; how to integrate all members of the foster care system team in the treatment plan; and how to work effectively with youth in foster care and with community-based systems Instructor Rocio Rodriquez is bicultural/bilingual therapist with a multi-discipline background. She has worked in substance abuse recovery programs, court-mandated treatment, and with San Mateo County Mental Health. Rocio has worked with families on family therapy, couple counseling, and play therapy. She has facilitated groups in Spanish and English on parenting, substance abuse, and health education.
