Interventions stand the best chance of success when done with the full
participation and endorsement of the family. Family Conferencing is
method of decision making and problem solving that uses a team of people
who share a common concern with a family. It is family driven,
strength-based, and culturally competent. Learn an overview of Family
Conferencing including the history of the practice, the roles and
responsibilities of its players, how to conduct a successful conference,
and a look at the benefits and challenges of using this model.
NOTE: Edgewood charges $3 for lunch; email fcs-training@ccsf.edu at least 48 hours in advance to order lunch. Students are welcome to bring bag lunches if they are staying all day. |
