Spam: What you Can and Can't Do About It

Did you know that junk email now accounts for 50% of all messages sent? According to “Technology Review” (July/August 2003), this time-wasting junk caused a $10 billion drag on worker productivity that year alone.  Did you know that 70% of all the email that arrives at CCSF is identified as spam and is blocked out before we even see it in our mailboxes?

In spite of these Herculean efforts, many of us have been receiving more and more unsolicited email; that is, spam. Check the TLC workshop schedule for the next session on spam. In the meantime, we've collected some links with information to help you arm yourself against this modern day plague.
