The AS Bookloan Program is a student initiated, organized, and staffed program that provides cash-strapped students with free textbooks. The program is offered to all students at City College of San Francisco but is specifically targeted toward low-income students with first priority given to those receiving financial aid. The Bookloan Program primarily stocks books for general education and transferable classes based on criteria of being useful to the greatest number of students.
