City College of San Francisco Scholarship Information

Continuing/Transferring Students

TITLE:              The James E. Court Scholarship in Earth Sciences

AMOUNT:         $ 200.



REQUIREMENTS:

1. Be currently enrolled at CCSF.
2. Have completed at least one CCSF course in earth sciences
    (geology, geography, oceanography or paleontology).

3. Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
4. Plan to transfer to a baccalaureate institution and continue
    studies in earth sciences.

5. Submit an essay explaining how continuing your studies in
    earth sciences is important to your educational or career
    goals.

COMMENTS:    This scholarship is for students who plan to transfer to a baccalaureate
                        institution and pursue studies in earth sciences.  The award is based on
                        financial need. The Personal Statement will play a major role in the
                        applicant’s selection
