THE PERSONAL STATEMENT
Your Personal Statement is an important part of your CCSF scholarship
application. It is your opportunity to stand out as an individual. The following
information is provided to assist you in preparing your personal statement.
SOME WORDS OF ADVICE
Don't use odd or creative fonts on your application or personal statement. Make
the documents easy to read and let the information speak for itself.
Give yourself plenty of time to check your work. Plan to show your Personal
Statement and Application to a trusted friend or faculty member. Avoid getting
feed back from too many people ,as it can be confusing and sometimes
discouraging.
