National Science Foundation Scholarship:
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math

This Spring, City College of San Francisco will award  up to fifty scholarships to full time students interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math.

Scholarships will vary from $500 to $5000.

Application Deadline: April 16, 2010

All full time students interested in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math are encouraged to apply for this National Science Foundation scholarship. The recipients will be chosen in May of 2010. The cash awards will be delivered in two parts, in September of  2010,  and February of 2011.

All scholarship recipients in 2009 will automatically receive the scholarship again in 2010, as long as they remain eligible.

The awards will be determined on the basis of academic merit and financial need.  See the Application page for full eligibility criteria, and instructions on how to apply.

In addition to the cash awards, recipients will have special access to student support services. Recipients will also be invited to monthly monthly meetings to hear distinguished speakers discuss research and opportunities in science and technological fields.
