FINANCIAL AID ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

In order for the City College of San Francisco (CCSF) Financial Aid Office to continue processing your application for student financial aid, you must meet the federal requirement that states that you have a “Regular Student” status at CCSF.  You must enroll at CCSF for the purpose of obtaining a degree or certificate or completing an official transfer program to a four year college.

To meet this “Regular Student” status at City College of San Francisco, you must complete the following:

bullet

Be officially admitted to City College of San Francisco, and

bullet

Be pursuing a Certificate or Associate Degree, or

bullet

A two-year Transfer Program (Must officially declare a transfer plan).

All transferred units are counted toward the two-year program.

Your academic record must reflect your Regular Student status.  The Financial Aid Office will check the information on your academic record before releasing any federal and/or state financial aid funds.

Since all transferred units must be counted toward the degree, you have to submit official academic transcripts from each school you have previously attended to the City College of San Francisco Admissions and Records Office.
