How Do I Get Financial Aid? General Information: Additional Sources of Information

Welcome to Financial Aid Office Web Site
It is the goal of City College of San Francisco to keep the doors open to all students no matter what their economic background. We feel it is imperative that we help students find funding avenues to meet the college costs.
The Financial Aid Office is located at 50 Phelan Avenue, Cloud 324, San Francisco, CA 94112. The office is open Mondays through Thursdays from 8:00 - 4:30 PM, Fridays from 9:00 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. The Financial Aid Counseling Office is located in Cloud Hall 324. The EOPS Office is located behind Smith Hall. The CalWORKS program is located in Bungalow 609. Please be advised that the Board of Governors Fee Waiver (BOGW) covers the entire amount of Enrollment Fees charged by City College of San Francisco ($26.00 per unit). If you have not applied for the BOGW, you can do so by filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Apply on line at www.FAFSA.GOV Please remember that although the deadline to apply for the Cal Grant Program has passed (September 2, 2009) you can apply for other financial aid, up to the last day of enrollment. So if you need help, please do not hesitate to contact us. In addition, I strongly encourage you to visit the California Student Aid Commission website which contains important information on how to apply for State financial aid and important deadlines. Disabled students who need assistance with accessing and processing of financial aid at City College of San Francisco, and who are unable to gain access to the Financial Aid Office should contact the Disabled Student Programs and Services Office. Arrangements will be made to have a Financial Aid Staff person meet with these students at the Disable Student Programs and Services Office, Rosenberg Library, Room 323. Thank you,
