CARE
The EOPS Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE) is one of special services provided to EOPS students who have been determined to be eligible. Eligibility for the CARE program is determined by EOPS and CARE criteria. In order for a student to eligible for CARE services, she/he must also be eligible for EOPS and meet all of the following current CARE criteria:
- Must be an EOPS student
- Must be a single head of household who has been determined by the State Social Services Agency to lack marketable employment skill
- Must be receiving TANF/CalWORKS (formerly AFDC)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have at least one dependent under 14 years of age
