Book Service Program
EOPS Book Service Program is designed to assist EOPS students to defray some of their book expenses while attending City College of San Francisco. Eligible EOPS students who have completed ALL of the following process may receive a voucher to help pay for some of their book expenses:
- Filed an EOPS application
- Attended EOPS orientation
- Signed an EOPS Responsibility Contract and Educational Plan
- Maintained a minimum of three (3) contacts with assigned EOPS Counselor each semester
- Enrolled 12 or more units each semester
Book vouchers generally available during the first week of instruction from EOPS Office. Students are notified by mail one week prior to the disbursement of book vouchers. A current enrollment verification (computer printout of current class schedules) and student identification card are required to pick up vouchers.
EOPS book vouchers can only be used to purchase required textbooks and workbooks for classes enrolled in; no supplies, equipment, uniforms, other required materials, or cash refunds. EOPS book vouchers are good for a single, one-time purchase and are not transferable.
Students are responsible for the differences if the amount of book purchases exceeds the maximum amount of book voucher. The amount of voucher varies depending on the amount of funding and the number of students in program.
There will not be any refund or reimbursement from EOPS or CCSF Bookstore for books that are purchased elsewhere. If the books you need are not available, you must see the bookstore manager for instruction.
EOPS book vouchers must be used at CCSF Bookstore (including bookstore branches located on Alemany Campus, Downtown Campus, John Adams Campus and Mission Campus).
