DSPS Counseling Services Information: Referral Process

DSPS counselors and instructors work with students who self-identify as having disabilities. Documentation of disability is required and academic adjustments and/or auxiliary aids are provided when appropriate.

Referrals for students with disabilities may be made by telephoning the Ocean Campus DSPS Office at (415) 452-5481 or the John Adams Campus at (415) 561-1001. In accordance with the Right of Privacy Act, all disability related contact with the DSPS Office remains confidential unless the person with the disability signs a written release. Faculty are welcomed to call the DSPS Office with questions.
