Continuing Student Counseling Department (CSCD)
GENERAL INFORMATION
HOURS OF THE
CONTINUING STUDENT COUNSELING DEPARTMENT AND LOCATIONS
The Continuing Student Counseling Department is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 7:00pm and Friday from 8:00am to 3:00pm. The Castro-Valencia campus is open evenings only, Tuesday through Thursday, from 5:30pm - 8:30pm.
Counseling appointments, drop-in counseling and evening counseling are available on a first come, first serve basis.
Counseling appointments
Are made 1 to 2 weeks in advance at your local campus
Sessions are 30 minutes to one hour long
Appointments can be made with the counselor of your choice, and are required for
· Students on probation.
· Educational Plans.
· Review of transcripts from other colleges.
They are highly recommended for all students
Drop-in counseling
Is available on a first come, first serve basis
Sessions are 10 to 20 minutes long
Is with the counselor available at that time
Is appropriate for:
· brief questions and information
· referral to campus and community services
· emergency problem solving

Please call 452-5235 or 452-5249 for a counseling appointment. Counselors work on both a drop-in and appointment basis. Drop-in hours vary by location. Please phone before you come to find out if a drop-in counselor is available.
Computers are available for student use in A201, C207 and SH106.
