Students will be trained to conduct a thorough home inspection and generate a detailed report disclosing the conditions of the roof, foundation, insulation, furnace and electrical components. Home inspectors earn $175-$275 for two to three hours of work.
This is a great experience for anyone who has an interest in homes and has an eye for detail.
The class can be taken online or in a traditional classroom setting. Tuition costs include course materials and tips on how to start you own home inspection business. The online course costs $995 and takes one to three months to complete. The seven-day inclass course is $1795. Financing is available through AHIT.
