What will this program do for me?
This program provides conceptual, aesthetic and practical skills training for the beginning to advanced photography student. Technical skills are fundamental to the program. The program provides a core curriculum of required courses that cover all key areas of commercial and creative photography. Elective courses offer the opportunity for specialized study and cover a range of traditional and emerging photographic approaches.

What kind of job can I get once I complete the program?
The program is designed to prepare students for a wide range of careers in photography or for transfer to institutions of higher learning for advanced study. Positions for which graduates may qualify include those of industrial, commercial, illustrative advertising, free-lance, editorial and public relations photographer; photographic-laboratory technician; photographic sales person and operator of a photographic business.

This degree program requires two years of study.

Classes are held at the Phelan Campus.

What are the requirements for receiving a degree?
Students may earn an A.A. Degree by satisfactorily completing the course requirements as delineated in the College Catalog.
