What will this program do for me?
The Multimedia Studies Program Concentration in Image and Sound combines instruction and practice with the concepts, techniques, and technology of audio and video production for interactive digital media.

What kind of job can I get once I complete the program?
This course of study prepares students for entry-level positions in multimedia sound and image production as a video, film, or sound designer and producer.

How much can I earn in this career?
The salary range is $10.00 to $50.00 per hour. Please refer to Occupational Outlook Handbook for current information on salary and job prospects.

What time of day are classes offered?
Varies each semester alternating between day and evening classes. Please check the Schedules for Credit Classes for class times and locations.

When do classes start?
City College of San Francisco operates on a semester schedule which begins in late August for the Fall semester and in late January for the Spring semester. Please check the Schedules for Credit Classes for specific class times and locations.

What are the requirements for receiving a degree?
The Multimedia Certificate requires 40 units of study. If you would like more information regarding course requirements, please refer to the Program Curriculum.

How much money can I expect to spend?
