 Engineered Plumbing Systems

What will this program do for me?
This program provides a student with the necessary skills for employment with a mechanical engineering firm engaged in the design of engineered plumbing systems for residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings. The topics taught in this course are also those required to successfully complete the examination given by the American Society of Plumbing Engineers for their certification program. This course therefore, makes an excellent review for the certification examination.

What kind of job can I get once I complete the program?
In mechanical consulting firms or self-employment. The program can also complement other skills, such as carpentry, air-conditioning, and refrigeration.

How much can I earn in this career?

How long will it take?
Three semesters to receive the Certificate of Completion in Engineered Plumbing Systems. Please refer to Program Curriculum for specific requirement information.

What are the requirements for certification?
Completion of ET 139A, ET 139B, and ET 139C with a grade of "C" or higher. Please refer to Program Curriculum for more requirement information.
