This program provides intermediate analog and digital electronic skills
learned in a conceptual mode as well as in a practical laboratory setting.
What
kind of job can I get once I complete the program?
This program prepares students for entry level electronic technician
jobs. It also provides a very strong foundation for those interested
in pursuing other related fields that heavily rely on electronics, such
as Audio and Video Broadcasting, Computer Networking, and Biotechnology.
How
much can I earn in this career?
Varies depending on experience and market demand, but expected to start
at $15 per hour minimum. Please refer to Occupational

and job prospects.
How
long will it take?
It can be completed in 2 more semesters after the completion of the
Basic Electronic certificate.
How do I enroll?
Fill out an application for credit classes at City College, and sign
up for the first class ELEC 101. Look under Engineering/Electronics
for time and locations.

Electronic Certificate:

ELEC 103B Electronics III: Intermediate Digital Circuits and Measurements
ELEC 104A Electronics IV: Analog and Digital Communications
ELEC 104B Electronics IV: Micro-controller Interfacing
