will this program do for me?
The program prepares students for a wide variety of entry-level clerical positions in the automated office environment or for further advanced studies. Class instruction includes basic
business skills (keyboarding, 10-key calculation, office correspondence and filing), business communication skills (business English, telephone training, and job search), and computer applications (word processing, database management, and spreadsheets).

kind of job can I get once I complete the program?
You will be prepared for an entry-level clerical job, such as a general
office clerk or clerk typist.

much can I earn in this career?
On the average, we estimate $6.50 per hour as a starting salary. Please

are the requirements for receiving a degree?
You need to attend classes regularly, pass all courses, type 45 words per minute, and have a speed of 160 strokes per minute on the ten-key

How
much money can I expect to spend?
This noncredit program is no cost to the student. If you meet the
government requirements and you work hard in the program, you may
be eligible for Financial Aid while you study.
