What will this program do for me?
This degree and certificate program is designed to give students a solid foundation in theory and practice in Real Estate. It allows students to hold salaried positions while preparing for the California Real Estate License as well as for specialized realty work. The curriculum is sponsored by the Department of Real Estate of the State of California, the California Association of Realtors and the San Francisco Board of Realtors.

What kind of job can I get once I complete the program?
Entry positions open to graduates who pass the California State examination for salesperson's or broker's license include those of sales agent, junior appraiser, rental agent, or property manager for a bank or land-development company; or in the property department of a corporation; a savings-and-loan company; or an insurance company. Graduates may also search titles and loose transactions for escrow companies or in the escrow department of any of the above establishments.

How long will the program take?
The degree program is a two-year course of study completed on a full-time basis. It is possible to obtain the Certificate of Completion in one academic year. If you would like more information on program requirements, please check the Program Curriculum.

What time of day are classes offered?
Daytime classes are offered as well as many evening courses. Please refer to the Schedules for Credit Classes for more information on class locations and times.

When do classes start?

How do I enroll?
For new students, please fill out an application or call the Office of Admissions at (415) 239-3285, located at the Phelan Campus, Conlan Hall, Room 107.

What are the requirements for receiving a degree?
CCSF awards the California Real Estate Certificate to any day or evening student who completes a prescribed program of 24 semester units. A student may complete the courses required for the California Real Estate Certificate, or by completing the full course of study the student will be awarded the degree, as well. Please refer the Program Curriculum for more information regarding specific course requirements.
