This program will provide essential analytical skills. You will learn how to read
read, write, and speak about business; apply accounting principles,
methods, and procedures; and problem-solve, analyze, record,
store, retrieve, and report financial transactions using a microcomputer.
What
kind of job can I get once I complete the program?
The degree program can prepare you for employment as a junior accountant.
The certificate can lead to positions in accounts receivable, accounts
payable, payroll, general ledger, and other accounting functions.

How
long will the program take?
The degree takes two years to complete on a full-time basis. The certificate
can be completed in less than two semesters.

will classes be held?
Most of the credit courses are held at the Phelan Campus; most of
the noncredit courses are held at the Downtown Campus and other locations

do I enroll?
If you are a new student, please fill out an application. For registering in a noncredit course go to Admission to Noncredit Classes then view the Schedules for Noncredit Classes. What
are the requirements for receiving a degree?
Completion of required coursework with a "C" grade or better. Please refer to the Program Curriculum for specific requirements.
