What will this program do for me?
The Finance program will provide the student with the fundamental knowledge and skills in finance to transfer to a four-year university with a major in finance. It also prepares the student to work in various entry-level positions in financial service companies, such as banks, insurance companies or brokerage firms. The knowledge and skills gained from this program will provide the student with a solid foundation upon which to build future growth in the field, either academically and/or professionally.

What kind of job can I get once I complete the program?
Depending on the educational and employment background of the student and on his/her motivation, there is a wide variety of jobs available to graduates of the program. In financial services, higher paying positions generally require certification. Common job classifications include entry-level positions in financial institutions, either with direct customer contact or in various back offices. Many companies are looking for sales personnel selling financial services and products.

How much can I earn in this career?
There is no limit to the income potential in this field. Entry-level positions command salaries comparable to other similar positions; however, with diligence and learning, income can rise to professional levels. How long will the program take?
If you are a full-time student, you will need four semesters to obtain the degree. To receive the Certificate of Completion, two semesters are required. For more information, please check the Program Curriculum.
