What will this program do for me?
Graduates who have satisfactorily completed the Curriculum in Architectural
Technology are qualified for employment in various capacities in architecture,
the construction industry, and related fields. Positions that graduates
may hold include those of architectural technician, mill-and-cabinet
detailer, construction detailer, building materials salesperson, and
manufacturer's representative. With experience and further training,
graduates may become senior architectural draftspersons, specifications
writers, and design draftsmen; or advance to managerial positions in
the fields indicated above. Upon successful completion of the curriculum,
students receive the Associate in Science degree. Students who complete
the curriculum with final grades of "C" (2.00 grade point average) or
higher in their major technical courses receive the Award of Achievement
in Architectural Technology.

kind of job can I get once I complete the program?
Junior or intermediate draftsperson, specification writer or designer
in an architect's office, building inspector or CAD operator.
How
much can I earn in this career?
Salaries vary from $18,000 to $22,000 per year for beginning draftspersons.

The program is a two year course of study. Some students take more time
