  *Academy of Art University qualified for WASC accreditation in May, 2007. City College of San Francisco can now accept credit for Academy of Art courses as of Spring, 2006, the semester the University passed its accreditation candidacy visit. However, please note that the articulation agreement, like all of the articulation agreements above, ONLY applies ONE-WAY (from City College to Academy of Art).

**Many colleges, such as City College of San Francisco, do not accept credits from U.S. colleges that are not accredited by Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) or one of the other five regional accrediting bodies (Middle States, New England, North Central, Northwest, or Southern). This is an important consideration for students who might want to transfer the credits back to CCSF or another college, or for students who might continue on to graduate school for a Master’s or other advanced degrees.
