NONCREDIT COURSES AT CCSF
- Students earn special certificates and/or diplomas. Such courses are graded
only if they are used for high school diploma credit or for financial
assistance. Courses include Adult Basic Education, GED, High School,
English as a Second Language, Citizenship, and vocational courses leading
to employment, as well as special classes for disabled persons and older
adults.
- For the most accurate and up-to-date enrollment information, please
contact the campus
offering the course you want to take. Counselors are available
to help you select and enroll in classes.
- Noncredit classes are tuition-free. Students are expected to secure books and
supplies. A few courses require the purchase of additional materials or
the payment of a materials fee. Check with the appropriate campus for an
estimate of these costs.
- You can enroll in many noncredit classes by attending the first class meeting.
- In many cases, you can enroll after the start of the semester. Speak to a
counselor or the instructor.
- Some classes and programs require testing before enrollment.
