Students earn special certificates and/or diplomas. Such courses are graded
only if they are used for high school diploma credit or for financial
assistance. Courses include Adult Basic Education, GED, High School,
English as a Second Language, Citizenship, and vocational courses leading
to employment, as well as special classes for disabled persons and older
adults.
For the most accurate and up-to-date enrollment information, please
contact the campus
offering the course you want to take. Counselors are available
to help you select and enroll in classes.
Noncredit classes are tuition-free. Students are expected to secure books and
supplies. A few courses require the purchase of additional materials or
the payment of a materials fee. Check with the appropriate campus for an
estimate of these costs.
You can enroll in many noncredit classes by attending the first class meeting.
In many cases, you can enroll after the start of the semester. Speak to a
counselor or the instructor.
Some classes and programs require testing before enrollment.
